5 Things With Chicago Bulls Center Andre Drummond
The 11-year NBA vet is a big fan of "Rick and Morty."
Welcome to “5 Things,” where I ask an NBA player five things and they give me five answers. Today, let’s talk to Chicago Bulls center and 11-year NBA veteran Andre Drummond.
Has it been difficult to stay focused on the games with all the trade talk that’s out there?
I think for us it’s not very hard to block out the noise. I think we’ve dealt with adversity on and off the court more times than we can count, so the outside noise is not something we think – well, I can speak for myself. I don’t really feed into it, nor does it really bother me. I control what I can control, on and off the court. Whatever the front office does is out of our control, so we just have to continue to play the game the best way we know how to and let the chips fall.
What’s your favorite thing in entertainment that you consumed in 2022?
The new season of “Rick and Morty,” season 6. That’s what I’ve been watching.
Your must-have travel essential?
My iPad. For two reasons: One, all my movies are on there and, two, all the film I need to watch is on there as well, too. So I have to have it.
What’s your favorite shoe to play in?
My favorite shoe I ever played in, and still is, is the Jordan 10s that I play in currently. That’s the shoe I play in now, so that’s probably my favorite shoe of all time.
Cheat meal in the offseason?
Probably a sea-food boil. Very messy, very high calories. I try to stay away from that during the year.
